January 23 - This Wednesday we spoke with Patti McSkane of the Knitted Purl. The Knitted Purl has a large commercial space on the west side of South Street just north of Audrey Avenue. The store offers a wide range of knitting supplies and a friendly, knowledgable staff. As Patti says, "We know the fiber arts are not for everyone, but everybody deserves the opportunity to enjoy a hand knit piece of artwork. We offer knitted pieces for those not inclined to knitting; skeins and supplies for expert knitters; and the expertise and classes to help every type of knitter in between."
